First visit $230

Your first visit will be an hour and a half long.  The visit will start with a very detailed health history.  This is an excellent time to ask Dr. Plank any questions that you have.  At this visit Dr. Plank will do a thorough physical exam as well.  She will listen to your heart,  lungs and abdomen.  Many patients are surprised at the depth of questioning on this first visit.  However, this gives Dr. Plank an opportunity to really get to know you and find the most specific treatment plan possible.  We will also discuss what your health goals are, and what you would like to see shift with treatment. Before the end of this visit Dr. Plank will give you an initial treatment plan.  She will explain what she is recommending and why.  She will also give you an idea of how long before you can expect to feel positive changes in your health, and what follow up treatments will consist of.  She will also give you treatment options, so that you can choose what fits best with your body and your lifestyle.  Often this first visit will include an acupuncture treatment as well.

Please come fifteen minutes early to your first appointment to complete new patient paperwork.  Or you can download the paperwork here and bring the completed form to your first visit.

What to bring:

You should bring any previous health history documentation that you have, especially any recent diagnostic work-up such as blood work, x-rays, MRI’s etc.  Dr. Plank will review this information in-between your first and second visit.  Also please bring in a list of current medications and supplements with dosages.  Often patients find it easiest to just bring in the bottles to the visit.

Return Visits $120

These are typically an hour in length.  This visits start with Dr. Plank checking in with you to see how you are improving, and what still needs to be addressed.  Dr. Plank will go over the treatment plan and modify it according to need.  This is also a time to bring up new concerns or challenges that are going on for you.  Dr. Plank encourages you to continue asking her questions and sharing with her any insights you have gained into your health or research that you have gone over.  At this visit Dr. Plank may do a focused physical exam if needed.  This visit often includes an acupuncture treatment.

Return Visits Brief $90

These visits are thirty minutes in length and do not include acupuncture treatments.  These visits are intended for patients who only need maintenance care and a quick check-up.  Dr. Plank will do a quick review of the treatment plan and make slight modifications if needed.  Acute situations that do not need acupuncture may also fall within this category.
